This website is created by me, George N. Lias and is dedicated to my grandfather George I. Lias. He was not lucky enough to be alive today so as to be able to be a witness of the tremendous leaps his fellow Kalymnians made and how his island which he so dearly loved developed! Besides remembering him the least I could do was to honnor him in the a way I believe he would be proud of. He was very found of tradition and his heritage ... thus, this is the most appropriate way to honnor him and hope that from where he is, he is standing tall and proud of those he left behind to bare his name!
